Regional Director - Solly Mabuza
Solly Mabuza joined The Mvula Trust with a wealth of experience in the build and project management environment. Having worked as a technical expert, site engineer, quantity surveyor, technician, site agent and project manager with several large organisations, including the Development Bank of Southern Africa, Mabuza is registered as an engineering technologist. Mabuza has served as the senior advisor to several bid committees and to various municipal infrastructure grant projects. He ensured project performance and designed new procedures and policies for process re- engineering on several large infrastructure projects. Mabuza was also instrumental in several large infrastructure projects such as the upgrading of the Piet Retief New Sewer Treatment Works, the Krugersdorp Psychiatric Hospital, the Umgeni Water Project, the Tshwane Roodeplaat Bulk Supply and the construction of several major roads. Mabuza holds a diploma in civil engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in construction management and is currently completing a master’s degree in the field of public and development management.
