Regional Director - Johnson Klu

Johnson Klu has over twenty years of experience in institutional and social development, research, lecturing and leadership. His experience includes preparation of policy document on institutional linkages and indigenous knowledge systems. As Research Manager and Acting Director for the University of Fort Hare's National Heritage and Cultural Studies Centre (NAHECS) he was involved in the Netherlands-funded Endogenous Knowledge Teaching project, the CSIR-funded Indigenous Knowledge Systems project, the National Government-funded Arts Audit project, the National Arts Council-funded Arts Management and Development Programme and the Eastern Cape provincial government-funded Audio Visual Centre. Klu joined the Mvula Trust in 2000 as Institutional Social Development Manager (ISD) and was promoted to the position of Regional Manager in 2003.
