Nhlakanipho Nkontwana

Brightboy Nhlakanipho Nkontwana has extensive management experience in the public and private sectors, focussing on human resources and management areas. Nkontwana negotiated conditions of employment at the PSCBC, represented members at the CCMA, as well as at the Industrial and Labour Courts. His experience with remuneration policy, collective bargaining and wage negotiations saw him taking up executive positions with among others, the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Council, the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA), the SA Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and the Intelligence Services Council on Conditions of Service. His leadership positions including serving as a Special Advisor the Minister of Defense and acting in positions of Chief of Staff and Director General at different government departments. Nkontwana has completed various research assignments relating to labour relations as well as skills development and he supported the establishment of various public organisations. Nkontwana is currently completing his M Phil in SA Politics and the Political Economy.
