Ian Palmer

B.A. Economics and geography (UNISA), B.Sc. Civil engineering (Wits, SA), M. Eng. Environmental, (Pennsylvania State University)

Palmer is a founder of Palmer Development Group (PDG) and has worked as a managing director of PDG since 1990. He has an extensive experience in the fields of civil engineering and development. His main competencies lie in water supply and sanitation policy, inter-governmental relations, infrastructure management and finance, water resource economics, municipal services policy and planning, strategic planning for local authorities and public transport finance.
